Check out "The Night Before" tab for information on a gathering we are hosting for anyone who is on the island the evening before our wedding!
Walk through downtown Coupeville for a classic Whidbey Island experience. Stroll along the historic wooden boardwalks of Front Street, where you’ll find charming local boutiques and cafes.
Be sure to walk the length of the iconic Red Wharf to catch views of Penn Cove and spot local seals. Before you leave, grab a scoop from the local favorite, Kapaw’s Iskreme, to enjoy as you soak in the mountain scenery and maritime history.
For some of the best views on the island, visit Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve. This stunning trail offers a perfect blend of inland prairies and rugged coastline.
Follow the bluff trail for panoramic views of the Admiralty Inlet and the Olympic Mountains, then wind your way down to the driftwood-covered beach to complete the loop. It’s a beautiful spot for photos and a favorite for island visitors.
Step into history at this massive turn-of-the-century coastal fortification. Perched on the bluffs of Central Whidbey, Fort Casey is a playground for history buffs and explorers alike.
Wander through the sprawling concrete bunkers and get up close to the rare "disappearing guns" that once guarded Puget Sound.
Afterward, stroll over to the picturesque Admiralty Head Lighthouse for panoramic views of the water. With its wide-open fields and steady sea breeze, it’s also the island’s premier spot for kite flying and watching the Port Townsend ferry glide across the inlet.
Located at the narrowest point of the island, Greenbank Farm is a scenic 151-acre landmark famous for its heritage and 360-degree views. Wander through the rolling hills on the walking trails and browse the local art galleries and cheese shop housed in the historic barns. Molly (pictured) loves the dog store, too!
